Who We Are

Listen Well Scotland delivers its service through a small team of tutors and trained listeners from diverse and experienced backgrounds who work within organisations and communities. Local co-ordinators ensure standards are maintained through supervision and support groups, which also encourage continued training and personal development.

Local Groups of Listen Well Scotland

As a charity we are pleased to affirm that throughout Scotland we have active local groups of trained tutors and listeners working as part of Listen Well Scotland.

All our local groups listed below are committed to our national quality standards policy and our listeners, trained in a safe and effective model, are fully supervised. When we have concerns or worries it is often helpful to speak to someone in person who will listen without judgement.

Those groups with designated telephone details are available to listen to you in confidence, offering you respect, time and space.

I often attend training courses where I am constantly “clock watching” and wonder about the usefulness of the material in the work setting. These two days have flown past – always a good sign!
